Even When You Don’t Understand

It’s just best to trust God. Even when we don’t understand, it’s just best to trust God. By no means am I suggesting that this is always easy to do, but it is always necessary to do.

When my dad passed away on December 2, 2018, I didn’t understand it. Quite honestly, I still don't. I cry out to God about it, asking for the answer to “why”.

Today is January 6, 2019 and I still don’t have a full understanding like I’d like. But, what I do have is God and His Word. He reminds of His Word where it says:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

So although I still may not fully understand, as I continue to talk to God about it, my peace grows. And I trust Him that He will continue to keep me in perfect peace as I keep my mind on Him.

And the same can happen for you. No matter the trial you may be going through, just trust God and seek Him, even when you don't understand.
