A Shift...

A shift. Sometimes that’s all we need. Particularly when it comes to our mindsets, this is especially true. Scripture tells us in Romans 12:2 to “be transformed by the renewing of your mind”. In order for us to witness change in any area of our lives, our minds must be renewed or in other words, a mindset shift must occur. You’ve heard the old adage: doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. Well the same goes for our thought lives. We cannot expect to continue to think the same things over and over in our lives and yield different results. The only way we can break free of bondages in our lives is if we have a mindset shift. The only way we will ever be able to truly walk in freedom is if we have a mindset shift. The only way we will be able to walk in victory is if we have a mindset shift. We can’t accomplish this on our own. We need to stay connected to the power of God for the shift to happen. We have to be willing to persevere and not give up. We have to be able to believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that what God says is true. And once we get to this point; the point of believing God’s word is true, the shift follows. And once the shift happens, life as we know will never be the same. We will be “new creatures” walking with a new confidence in Christ. Take courage! Change your thoughts in order to change your world.
