Expect Different

I recently posted this thought on one of my Facebook pages:  “Some of us get disappointed way too easily. Could it be that our expectations are out of wack?” 

Did you feel that? Yeah. I did. I originally posted that thought in 2017. It was still so relevant that it deserved a repost in 2020. Here I was still being disappointed by people and what they did or didn’t do. 

We need to get rid of that thought process immediately in 2020. People are not perfect. People are not exactly alike. People may not think like we do. 

The only one we should put our in expectations is God. He is the only one that is always reliable. He is the only one that doesn’t change. He always has our best interest in mind.

So the next you find yourself disappointed by people, remind yourself of what I’ve said and save yourself the trouble.
