What do you do when you feel helpless? What do you do when it seems like things are getting worse with each passing day?  What do you do when it seems like people around you have given up hope and believe that nothing can and never will change.

If this is the case for you, please know you aren't the first or only to feel this way.   In the following passage of scripture, God was speaking to Solomon.  God gave Solomon instructions on what to do when adversity comes.

2 Chronicles 7:13-15

"When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”

This same instruction applies to us now. When we are faced with trouble, it is my prayer that we take hold of this Word.

Trust His Word. Believe His Word. Live His Word. God is forever faithful.
