Walk It Out

“I declare war!” This is what I imagine the flesh in us saying to the Holy Spirit living us. And every day, it is a war. Daily, our flesh manifests in the form of our feelings. It’s very important that we don’t let our feelings get the best of us. Instead, we should yield to the Holy Spirit. Scripture urges us this way: “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬) Rather than allowing our feelings (flesh) dictate our moods and actions, let us give the Holy Spirit the right of way in our lives. By yielding to (walking in) the Holy Spirit, we will find more stability and peace.
