A Shift Is Near

Shift: to change place or position; to change direction. In my last blog, I wrote about shifting our mindsets. That’s where it starts. Our minds must be ready. Ready for what you ask? Ready for The Shift that God is waiting to deliver. Lately, I’ve been feeling it. In my own life, God has been stirring some things in me. Things that have been buried for a long time. Things that I forgot were inside of me. Things that I didn’t even know were there. Dreams. Desires. Goals. Plans. Visions. We have to be careful not to resist The Shift. It would be easy to do because shifting will cause us to be uncomfortable at times. When God is ready to shift us, our comfort zones will be challenged. The way we used to do things, we won’t be able to do them that way anymore. The way we used to think, we won’t be able to think that way anymore. In these moments, we must be willing and committed to receiving the change in direction (The Shift) that God is putting before us, even it it’s uncomfortable or not what we are used to. I feel this very thing happening in this season for many. If you are ready for change, God is ready to deliver. “For God does not show favoritism” (Romans 2:11 NIV). Align with The Shift because it is near!
