We’ve all heard the saying, ‘you reap what you sow’. But have we really considered the meaning? If we think of a farmer, we know that when they plant their seeds into the ground, sometime in the future, with proper nurture and care, they will see their harvest. This is a physical example.

Likewise, the “seeds” we put into the ground in our own lives will also eventually see a harvest. We must be mindful of this and watch our seeds closely if we want to reap a good and plentiful harvest. We have to purposeful in making sure that the seeds we sow are good and plentiful.

Are there any areas in your life that you asking God for increase? I urge you to start sowing some seeds. Is it more money you desire? Increase your giving. Is it a promotion at work? Start doing above and beyond what is required of you at work. Is it better relationships? Start being on purpose showing love to others you are in relationship now.

Know this: the more you give, the more God will give back to you. And, if you want to grow, you must sow!
