Love Different

We are all different. God created us that way. But unfortunately, sometimes we allow our differences to divide us. Word to the wise (and unwise alike): we should not.
Scripture tells us to love. If you need a detailed definition of what it means to love, check out 1 Corinthians 13. It talks about love “being patient”. It talks about love “being kind”. It tells us love “is not rude”. And the description doesn’t stop there. Again, check out 1 Corinthians 13 for more on that.
And when you do, you will notice that love’s definition requires actions, never feelings. We must put our feelings aside because that’s not what love is about. Loving others is about sacrifice beyond how we feel. Loving others is looking past their differences and “being kind” anyway. Loving others is “not being rude” to them even though they may be annoying us.
Can you do it? Yes you can. Because God says you can. You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you!
So go ahead...love different.
