Life is much simpler when we align our ways with God. There have been many times that I’ve found myself out of alignment with God. In those moments, I’ve been the most stressed and uncomfortable.

Do you find yourself feeling this way- stressed and comfortable? Let me encourage you with a few scriptures:

1. “Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.” Psalms‬ ‭37:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

2. “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

3. “Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Have you noticed a common thread in these scriptures? While God knows the we may have dreams and desires, it’s only through Him that those dreams and desires will manifest. He admonishes us to commit our way to Him, acknowledge Him and delight ourselves in Him, then our dreams and desires will come to past. In other words, aligning with Him is the prerequisite.

May you be encouraged today. Resist the urge to grind (for your dreams and desires); instead align. Amen.
