Be Quiet

This may be harder for some of us than others including me. I don’t find it hard to keep my mouth shut though. But I do sometimes find it hard to quiet my mind.


Can you agree that we can always find something to worry about? Yes, there is always something we can be concerned with or something we need to figure out.


But Psalms 46:10 admonishes us to, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” A lot of times I find that if I’d just get still, quiet my mind before the Lord, that all of my worries and concerns dissipates.


I want to encourage us in this. Whenever you find yourself worrying, over reasoning, anxious, etc., be quiet. Be still. Know that God is God. Allow Him to be exalted over any of your concerns!
