Do You Trust Him or Not?

Man. Life sure has a way of throwing curveballs at us. It seems like every time you turn around here lately, there is something new we can be concerned about.

In this season, I feel like personally, I have been in perpetual trust training. Most times, I have no idea of what’s going to happen in the near future, let alone in the distant future. Although, I find myself sometimes trying to figure it out, for the most part, I have given up on that approach. Alternatively, I’ve decided to just trust God.

I mean, what else can we do in times like these? Literally, it feels like everything has been turned on its head. Nothing is stable, everything seems so fluid and changes on a dime. If I’m not careful, I’d find my emotions following suit. Which again, is why decided to just trust God.

It is during times like these that we have to put our money where our mouths are. We say we trust God, but do we really?

Recently I had made a decision to do something that I believed that God approved of and led me to do. Shortly thereafter, I began to doubt the decision I made. I started to think, “what if I was wrong?” This line of thinking went on for several days, creating great anxiety and uncertainty. Until one day, I said to myself, “enough is enough! I trust God!

Yep, I had to make a decision and a declaration that I was going to trust God with my life. In Matthew 6:25-34, the Bible talks about the truth that we don’t need to worry about our lives; God is caring for us. And this is what I’ve resolved to believe.

How about you?
