He Will Take Care of You

I read something written by Joyce Meyer earlier this month. It said, "Worry and anxiety are rooted in the fear that we won't be taken care of. Remember, God will always take care of you!" I don't know why, but this really "hit different" when I read it. I've read many statements similar to this before. As a matter of fact, I've read scripture that basically said the same thing. But this time, these words were revelatory.

It is so important that we understand this about our God. He promises to take care of us! Once we get a hold of that truth, our lives become much more simple to live out. Our worry and anxiety dissispates at this truth.

I was reminded of a song by the Chicago Mass Choir called "Jesus Promised" that sums up this sentiment. I've included the link at the end of this blog for your listening pleasure and encouragement as well. Also, I want to share a few scriptures with you to further solidify this truth in your life:

Philippians 4:19 (ESV) - "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Isaiah 41:13 (ESV) - "For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”"

John 16:33 (ESV) - "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”"

Meditate on these words today. Be encouraged today. God will take care of you!
