Sowing A Good Seed

A few weeks, I taught a lesson about preparation. In the message, I spoke about the importance of preparing for what God has in store for us. Furthermore, I made the point that in a lot cases in order to prepare for the new thing that God has for us, it is necessary for us too to do a new thing.

One of the ways we can do a new thing is by sowing a good seed. As a matter of fact, doing a new thing in preparation for what God has for us is inherently sowing a good seed.

How so? Anytime we make the decision to heed to what we believe God is revealing to us, we are subsequently activating our faith. And anytime our faith is in motion, it naturally follows that good seeds are being sown. It just comes with the territory.

God tells us in His word that we will indeed reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7 para.). So why not sow goodness so that we can reap goodness?

Allow God to show you how you should sow in this season. He may prompt you to sow financially. He may prompt you to sow in your time. He may prompt you to sow in the area of your physical well-being. Whatever it is, be a willing vessel to be obedient and sow the good seed.

God desires to reward you for the good seeds that you sow. Not only does He desire it, He will reward you. Scripture tells us, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

So let me encourage you, sow abundantly, so when your due season comes, you can reap!
