I had something else in mind to write about this month. But as I read the theme scripture in preparation for my writing, I was drawn to read more. As a result, my topic changed.

The entire 37th chapter of Psalms is a powerful one. It speaks to God’s instruction and His promises to us, the righteous.

I know sometimes it feels like life is unfair.  However, we are assured throughout this chapter that when we are in Christ, ALL will be well. I love verse seven where it says, “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him…”.

Never do we need to fight our own battles. Never do we need to strive to get what we think we deserve. Instead, rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him (to fight for us, to vindicate us, etc.).

So I exhort you to take the time to read Psalms 37. Allow the truth of God’s word to encourage your heart today.
