You Have What You Need

Second Peter 1:3 says, "His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence." This scripture has really been resonating with me over the last several weeks.


We should really take heart in knowing that we never lack anything. God has already given us everything that we need. Yes it's true that we may have shortcomings. Yes it's true that we may have habits that need to be broken. Yes it's true that sometimes living life seems like struggle.


But God's truth trumps all of those things and more. We have the very power of God with us to empower us. We have the very power of God living down on the inside of us to overcome any and everything we may be up against. No habit is too great for God. No shortcoming we may have surprises God. We have everything we need to live a Godly life. God is our everything. And when we have Him, we have all we need. Be encouraged!
